Back in the days of no babies, endless evenings and an insatiable appetite for finding new wines that floated my boat, I was always mega impressed by the events planned by the Wade Bales Wine Society. I’m not a fan of mass wine events, the idea of fighting for a minuscule tasting whilst having to smile politely as a wine maker attempts to talk about balling to a drunk audience is less than amusing…Which is why I enjoy the selection, the relaxed atmosphere and the mountains of great snacks that Wade Bales lays on at his events. Tickets are available via Quicket at R290 per person. This includes a complimentary Champagne glass, unlimited access to all MCC and gin products featured on the day, as well as 6 fresh oysters to round off the occasion. Additional Sushi and Pizza will be for sale on the day from The Grand.
