A snapshot of England

If you’ve been following me on Instagram you’ll know that we spent June in my beautiful homeland and I went totally snaptastically mad. Every year we visit to see my family and whilst the weather wasn’t the best, the landscape and vast scope of things to do was just breathtaking.

I don’t think my camera has ever worked so hard – I was just madly in love with the colours and the flowers…guys, THE FLOWERS! I have decided that I need to take a sabbatical, travel England, and document all the roses and get it printed into a photo journal. I was blown away.

I want to share some of my favorite photos with you for a few reasons

  1. Perhaps you were flitting with the idea of visiting and this will push you to take the leap.
  2. You might live in the UK and be looking for beautiful places to take your camera to
  3. You’ve possibly just have wanted something pretty to look at today – I hope this fills a need.
Where we stayed

We spent the majority of our time in Kent which is known as the garden of England because the conditions are so favorable for growing flowers, veg and fruit. A short walk from us were stunning vineyards and we tried to walk most evenings because the sunsets were magic.

We tried to get out as often as possible to visit nearby National Trust locations and of course, we hit London too!

I hope you liked these snapshots of my home. There were so many more to add but this would have turned into a full-on manifesto
