Wow, what a year!
January 2019 was the moment I stepped out of the boat and into the waves with arms open, ready to take on whatever God had in store for me and my family. It has been momentous. My photography business has bloomed beyond belief. I’ve met and become close-friends with some wonderful people and Mr H and I have gone balls to the wall with work…but in a fun, exhausting way.
It was also the year that my dear, sweet Grandpa died and I slipped, deeply, into sadness, which I tried to mask with work and being “busy”. I fell hard and relied heavily on my close friends and family to help.
I feel like I have shouted a lot this year. It was the year of establishing myself and I hope that next year will continue to be bursting with joy, work and the best people to share all the triumphs alongside.
As part of my “round-up the year” tradition, I like to share a few of my favorite photos that I have snapped throughout 2019.
My top family pics
Whether it was a moment or emotion – these are the photos (obviously there are so many more I wish I could share) that get me in the feels. Whether sad or happy.
These next three photos…Only months apart.
How cruel time is to show contrasts so vast, so overwhelming. I do not like the third photo, but it is a moment never to be forgotten.
My top client pics
The photoshoots I have done this year have all been so unique and special. I have met people who have blown my mind. Whilst I love every photo for its differences and unique magic, some have just captured something that makes me catch my breath, or something that I have never done before.
I feel like I could have gone on forever with how many photos I love because I feel like this isn’t even enough!
2020 is going to be a symphony of beauty and my camera and I am totally ready to capture it all.
Do you have a favorite photo from what I have shared?

Family is always the first place. I saved so many photos that my phone can not afford, lol.
